ahz ü i'tâ is an Arabic-origin word once used in Old Turkish, meaning “to take and to give,” referring to the act of exchange.

ahzuita is a music and education-based initiative that aims to create cultural awareness by offering an artist-centered structure in the warmth of a marble-walled living room.

Unlike a workplace, club, bar or café, ahzuita was consciously designed as a small, home-like venue, arranged to host up to twenty-five guests.

By embracing different artistic disciplines, ahzuita provides a space for cultural and creative exchange. Its core identity is built on music, particularly jazz, and it highlights the solidarity between music, culture, education and artists. It breaks away from traditional perceptions and adopts an approach that puts music at the forefront.

Unlike large concert halls, ahzuita’s setting allows for a more natural and intimate connection between the listener and the musician. This makes ahzuita not only a place to listen to music but also a music laboratory that offers insight into the process of creation. It welcomes those who wish to internalize music and explore its depth. The silent concerts are designed to deliver this experience in the most direct and immersive way.
